Skull Exercising and Massaging

Although the human skull has been long-thought to be immovable, we now understand that the 5 bones that make up the skull are actually movable and this can be important to the nightly brain cleansing that takes place during the second phase of our sleep. During this cleansing period the brain actually squeezes itself out like a big sponge; (glymphatic system activation).The glymphatic system is a waste clearance system that works in coordination with the lymphatic system in the body. It involves the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) through the brain tissue, flushing out metabolic waste products that accumulate during wakefulness.
