I have learned now to drink a cup or two of green tea each day to add  certain trace elements to my diet, and to help keep me healthy as I get older; I am 86 years old now and have no health problems, although I must get up in the through the night to use the bathroom. The famous Larry King is now gone, but his website sent me to a government site on green tea and it’s benefits. Very impressive.

  • Green tea has been used for thousands of years as a health drink.
  • Green tea requires no special equipment or preparations.
  • Green tea travels well, is economic, and readily available at most super markets. It only costs about 3 cents per cup.
  • It has no troublesome side effects–and contains no calories.

We don’t need to add sweeteners or creamers: I learned that if I slip in a pinch of plain salt, there is no need for sugar or sweetener. This is part of my learning to like plain unadulterated Whole Foods. I am always pleasantly surprised how delicious ordinary foods ,including ordinary coffee and tea, can taste once I get over the need to sweeten or flavor it .Salt is a natural flavoring that has been denigrated by our government and its health industry.
